The "UKENATOR", or resonator ukulele, is an amazing addition to any uke collection. The front is etched with a traditional Polynesian tattoo design inspired by tiki gods... large wood and stone carvings of humanoid forms,found in Polynesia.

The resonator ukulele is a descendant of the resonator guitar, which was originally designed to be louder than conventional acoustic guitars overwhelmed by horns and percussion instruments in dance orchestras. A resonator ukulele is louder than a standard wooden ukulele, and has a different tone quality.
